speedyouwilltravelifthereisnovehicledetected     in
yourpath.
{WARNING:
TosetAdaptive  CruiseControl, dothefollowing:

MakesuretheHead-UpDisplay(HUD)isonand
properly adjusted. YoucannotengageAdaptive
CruiseControlunlesstheHUDison.SeeHead-Up
Display(HUD) on page 4‑38 formoreinformation.
IfyouleaveyourAdaptive   CruiseControlswitch
onwhenyouarenotusingcruise,youmighthita
buttonandgointocruisewhenyoudonotwant
to.Youcouldbestartled   andevenlosecontrol.
KeeptheAdaptive  CruiseControlswitchoffuntil
youwanttousecruisecontrol.

Movetheswitchtoon.
Getuptothedesiredspeed.
4. PressTattheendoftheleverandreleasethe
button.

Takeyourfootofftheaccelerator   pedal.
{WARNING:
OnceAdaptive CruiseControlisset,itmight
immediately applythebrakesifitdetectsavehicle
aheadthatistoocloseormovingslowerthanyour
vehicle.
IfyouoperateAdaptive  CruiseControlwithout
yourHead-upDisplay(HUD)properly   adjusted,
yourAdaptive CruiseControlsettings  maynotbe
visible. Youcouldforgetyoursettings  andbe
startled byAdaptive CruiseControlresponse and
evenlosecontrol.  KeepyourHUDonand
properly adjusted whenusingAdaptive Cruise
Control.
