HeadlampWasher
Thewindshield washerbuttonislocatedattheendof
thewindshield wiperleverontherightsideofthe
steering column.
Forvehicles withheadlampwashers,  theyarelocated
totheinsideoftheheadlamps.
K(WasherFluid)  : Pressandholdtospray
windshield washerfluidonthewindshield.  Thewasher
willsprayuntilthebuttonisreleased.    Thewiperswill
continue toclearthewindowforaboutsixsecondsafter
thebuttonisreleased  andthenstoporreturntothe
presetspeed.
{WARNING:
Infreezing weather,donotuseyourwasheruntil
thewindshield iswarmed.Otherwise  thewasher
fluidcanformiceonthewindshield,    blocking your
vision.
PressLlocatedattheendofthewindshield     wiper
lever,towashtheheadlamps   andwindshield. Afterthe
firstwash,theheadlamps  willbewashedafterthefifth
pressofthewindshield  washerbutton.
Ifthefluidinthewindshield   washerfluidreservoir  islow,
themessageCHECKWASHERFLUIDwillappearon
theDriverInformation  Center(DIC)display.Itwilltake
60
secondsafterthebottleisrefilled   forthismessageto
Theheadlamps mustbeontobewashed.Ifthewasher
fluidislow,theheadlampwasherswillnotwork.
turnoff.Forinformation  onthecorrect  washerfluid
mixturetouse,seeWindshield   WasherFluid on
page 6‑36 andRecommended FluidsandLubricants
on page 7‑9.
