9/Acc.(OFF/ACCESSORY) : Presstoturntheengine
offinanygear.IftheshifterisinP(Park),RAPwill
engageifalldoorsareclosed.RAPwillturnoffwhena
frontdoorisopened.SeeRetained   Accessory Power
(RAP) on page 3‑26 formoreinformation.
Thevehiclehasan
electronic keylessignition
withpushbutton start.
Iftheengineisoff,pressthisbuttontoturnonthe
accessory mode.ACCESSORYACTIVEwilldisplayon
theDriverInformation  Center(DIC).Accessory mode
allowsuseoftheaudiosystemandwindshield    wipers.
Accessory modemustbeusedifthevehiclemustbe
towedorinmotionwhentheengineisnotrunning.
Afterthevehiclehasbeeninaccessory    modeformore
than20minutes,thevehiclewillenterRAPorturnoff,
depending onifthedoorsareopenedorclosed.
RetainedAccessoryPower(RAP)
ToshiftoutofP(Park),thevehiclemustberunningor
inACCESSORYmodeandtheregularbrakepedal
mustbeapplied.
Thesevehicleaccessories  canbeusedforupto
20minutesaftertheengineisturnedoff:

(START):  Presstostarttheenginewithyourfooton

AudioSystem
thebrakepedal.TheshiftermustbeinP(Park)or
N(Neutral) andthekeylessaccesstransmitter   mustbe
inthevehicle.
AudioSteering WheelControls
PowerWindows
Powertotheseaccessories  willworkupto20minutes
oruntiloneofthefrontdoorsisopened.Foran
additional 20minutesofoperation,  closeallthedoors
andpressAcc.toplacethevehicleinaccessory     mode.
PressthebuttonagaintoreturntoRAP.
Ifthestartbuttondoesnotwork,thevehiclemaybe
nearastrongradioantennasignalcausinginterference
tothekeylessaccesssystem.SeeDICWarningsand
